This requires proper tool structure, standardization, and concatenation of geometric parameters. CNC tool is one of the preconditions to improve the processing efficiency, its choice depends on the shape of the processing object parts, the state of the material, the rigidity of the fixture, the tool selected by the machine tool.



Please consider the following:



1, according to the cutting performance of parts and materials to choose the tool.

Indexable carbide tools with better wear resistance are recommended for rotating or grinding high-strength steel, titanium alloy and stainless steel parts.



2. Select the tool according to the processing stage of the parts.

That is to say, in the roughing stage, mainly through the removal of finishing to reduce the stiffness, the purpose is to choose more accurate tools, in the semi-finishing process, mainly to ensure the machining accuracy of parts and product quality, but to ensure the durability of higher performance and high-precision tools, in the roughing stage the tool precision is lower. In addition, the tools used in the finishing table are very accurate.

If the same tool is chosen for roughing and finishing, most of the tool edges removed from finishing will be slightly worn and worn due to coat wear, so it is recommended to select tools removed from finishing during roughing. Continuous use will affect finishing. Machining quality, but has little effect on rough surface treatment.



3, according to the characteristics of the processing area to select the tool and geometric parameters.

If the structure of the part is acceptable, tools with large diameters and small aspect ratios must choose the edge of an ultra-center milling tool to cut thin-walled and ultra-thin pendulum parts, and must have sufficient centripetal Angle to reduce the cutting force of the tool and the cutting part. For machining parts in soft materials such as aluminum or copper, choose an end mill with a slightly larger Angle and no more than 4 teeth.
